One of our leading clients in the Building Materials industry is seeking the following:

Position: Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic

Location: 2 hours South of Kelowna, BC

Rate: $45.74 hourly + RELOCATION ASSISTANCE

Shift: Days

Duration: Permanent, Full-Time position

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Mechanic Certification with heavy-duty equipment repair expertise.
• Over 5 years of industrial mechanic experience, including forklift repair and comprehensive safety knowledge.
• Proficiency in air brake systems and a diverse range of mechanical backgrounds, such as diesel, propane, electric, and hydraulic systems. Strong computer skills, including SAP and Excel, complement technical proficiency.

Overview:

• Maintain the reliability of all mobile equipment on site, adhering to strict standards.
• Execute daily maintenance tasks and preventative maintenance programs.
• Manage spare parts inventory to ensure maximum operational uptime at minimum costs.
• Provide regular reports on equipment repairs and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
