We are currently recruiting for the following excellent CNC Machinist opportunity for our client in the Automotive Industry for one of their locations in Taylor, MI
We are recruiting for the following:

Position: CNC Machinist
Location: Taylor, MI
Shift: Second Shift (2pm-10pm)
Pay Rate: $23-$30 per hour (Depending on experience) + Great Benefits

Responsabilitites:

• Perform machining tasks by analyzing specifications, arranging materials, setting up, and operating machine tools, cutting tools, and gauges.

Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of machining center theory, encompassing X-Y-Z Axis concepts.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC machining and CNC programming.
• Proficiency in demonstrating G & M codes, tool offsets, speed, and feed editing.
• Ability to interpret blueprints in either metric or inch measurements. • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering quality and accuracy within specified deadlines.
• Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by a solid foundation in mathematics.
• Sound understanding of cutting tools and their applications.
• Programming experience with software such as Prospector, Edgecam, and Mastercam.
• Preferred but not required experience in tool and die builds. • Competence in 3-4 Axis machining.
• Familiarity with Fanuc Controls (HAAS) systems.
• Experience working with tool steel and aluminum materials.
• Basic proficiency in computer programs like Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Operation of tool room equipment, including but not limited to mill, lathe, and grinders.
