Plant/Operations Director
Location: Ontario, California
Full-Time Permanent with Great Benefits
Responsibilities:

• Oversee all plant operations which include production, quality assurance, maintenance, warehousing, and safety.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to meet production goals and support business growth.
• Ensure compliance is followed with all food safety regulations, quality standards (e.g., SQF, HACCP, GMPs), and OSHA requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Foster a positive, performance-driven culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and safety.
• Build and develop strong leadership teams through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Supply Chain, R&D, HR, and Finance to align plant operations with company objectives.
• Manage plant budgets and capital expenses effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a plant-level management role.
• Strong knowledge of food safety systems, lean manufacturing principles, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and complex operations with a hands-on, data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing large-scale production and multi-shift operations.
