We are currently recruiting for the following excellent Maintenance Technician opportunity for our client for one of their locations in Taylor, MI.
Position: Maintenance Technician
Pay: Between $ 28-$ 33 (Depending on experience) per hour + Shift premium + Great Benefits
Shift: 1st and 2nd Shift available
Location: Taylor, MI
Status: Full-time permanent position
Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machinery and systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts.
• Collaborate with other team members on projects.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in maintenance within an industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical experience
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with PLC systems, with basic troubleshooting skills required and programming experience recommended.
• Essential knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair basic issues.
• Strong electrical expertise, including proficiency in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing components.
• Mechanical aptitude, capable of replacing and rebuilding gearboxes, shafts, rollers, blowers, piping, belts, machine guarding, pumps, hoses, and other industrial equipment.
• Skilled in conducting routine safety system inspections, lubricating equipment, and providing necessary data for equipment analysis and maintenance checklists
