DESCRIPTION

We are currently recruiting for the following excellent Electrician opportunity for our client in the Industrial Manufacturing sector for one of their locations in Milton, Ontario.

Position: Electrician
Shift: Continental Rotating Shift
Location: Milton, On
Pay: $39- $44 (After probation)
Status: Fulltime Permanent

Main Responsabilitites:

• Deliver crucial electrical assistance to our production line to maintain peak production rates and ensure the delivery of high-quality finished products.
• Responsively address requests from production staff, swiftly troubleshooting issues and delivering effective solutions.
• Participate in preventative and predictive maintenance activities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Interpret and utilize drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to execute installations of industrial electrical equipment.
• Perform installation, inspection, replacement, and repair tasks on electrical components, wiring, and fixtures.
• Conduct thorough testing and maintenance procedures on electrical and electronic equipment to verify proper operation.

Requirements:

• Holds a valid Ontario Industrial Electrician License (442A or 309A)
• Hold a College Degree in a technical field, preferably in electrical, computer, or electronics disciplines.
• Accumulate a minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial experience or complete an Apprenticeship program in Canada.
• Demonstrate proficiency in installation and programming, with a focus on VFD drives, servo drives, PLC-controlled Automation, motor control circuits, and industrial instrumentation.
• Exhibit a solid understanding of the Ontario Electrical Code.
• Collaborate effectively within a team and autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Showcase outstanding troubleshooting skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.
