DESCRIPTION
Position: Licensed Millwright Food
Location: Canada, , London
Salary: $40 - $44/hr /
Status: Full Time, Permanent

POSITIONS SUMMARY:
The licensed millwright will be responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance of all plant machinery. This plant runs 24/7 and is a continuous process environment. It is in the food industry.
SHIFT: 12 Hour Rotating every 2 weeks
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspect, install, repair, replace, adjust all mechanical equipment in the plant.
Receive instructions, prints or work orders, covering scheduled and emergency repairs, installation and inspection work to be done.
Determine the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production.
Advise when immediate shut down of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporarily continued operation will have no harmful effect.
Responsible for performing assigned maintenance work on mixers, ovens, conveyors, pumps, motors etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Certificate of Qualification (Industrial Mechanic/Millwright – 433A) as recognized by the Ontario College of Trades
Experience in a Food manufacturing environment preferred.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Strong communication and work ethic, ability to work in a team and with other trades.
Basic computer experience a must.
